In fact, I would go as far to say that a strategy that does not include a well-defined goal is really only a hope and a prayer.

I heard a story about how a small group of Harvard graduates who set goals achieved many times what their combined non-goal setting classmates achieved. I’ve personally seen several examples of the effectiveness and the impact of goal setting. Can you imagine a world without the iPhone, Facebook or Google? Those entrepreneurs all had well-defined goals.
